ASCOT and the first two days of Goodwood are the focus of my attention this week. More specifically, I am concentrating on three performances that can only be described as top class and I start with what can only be described as Graduation day for Kalpana.

The King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Stakes last Saturday produced a stellar field and a result that suggests Kalpana has taken another step forward. Her data is rock solid in a strongly-run race and there is absolutely no reason to doubt the validity of the result.
