WISSAHICKON set himself up for even bigger targets as he landed the odds in tremendous style with another dominant performance in the Group 3 Betway Winter Derby at Lingfield.

The highly-progressive colt made a mockery of the competition as he swept to his fifth win on the bounce, a run that started at Chelmsford, took in the Cambridgeshire and now numbers three in a row at the Surrey circuit.

Knowing he was on the best horse in the race, Frankie Dettori let the John Gosden-trained four-year-old find his stride as his stablemate Court House made most of the running.

Dettori asked Wissachickon for his effort turning for home and the 1/4 favourite was soon in command after making his challenge on the outside. Leading over a furlong out, he pulled three and a quarter lengths clear of Court House.

Pactolus stayed on for third place, three and a half lengths away, just ahead of Big Country.
