THE list of winners bred at the Meadowlands Stud increased again during the period under review when the Tom Clover-trained Storm Shelter justified favouritism in the mile nursery at Chelmsford last Thursday week.

Bred by Brian Kennedy, the two-year-old Gale Force Ten gelding is the fifth of seven foals out of the Oratorio mare City Vaults Girl, dam previously of the winners Majboor (by Dragon Pulse) and City Of Stars (by Lilbourne Lad). The bay was followed by a Cappella Sansevero filly (2017) and a colt this year by Raven’s Pass.
