As one of five lots to hit the €5,000 mark, Hollys Princess showcased impressively under Brendan Ryan, before selling to Bedfordshire dealer John Whinnett. A catalogue pick on paper, the homebred daughter of Wenever is the winner of 15 SJI points to date, and is a half-sister to the useful Hollys Hope, winner of 76 points.

“I thought she jumped and was a good sort,” commented Whinnett. “While I have bought her to sell on, she may be campaigned by my nephew Chris Whinnett who, although he is only 13 years old, is currently doing a good job on all my horses.”
