TATTERSALLS Ireland will pay the Horse Racing Ireland ‘Authority to Act’ fee for all syndicates and clubs that put a horse, purchased at this week’s September Yearling Sale, in training in Ireland.

Roger Casey, managing director of Tattersalls Ireland, said: “We are delighted to be able to offer this incentive to syndicates and clubs who purchased a yearling from the September Yearling Sale and Part II. Syndicates and clubs are growing within Ireland and it is pleasing to be able to offer them an added incentive on set-up to further encourage this growth.”

Amber Byrne, owner recruitment manager with HRI, said: “I’d like to thank Tattersalls Ireland for supporting ownership in Ireland and offering this incentive to syndicates and clubs. Any incentive to put horses in training in Ireland is very welcome and of course every discount helps the bottom line.”

To register for the scheme, syndicate and club representatives must register with Horse Racing Ireland. On approval, the Authority to Act Fee of €40 will be refunded directly into the owner’s HRI account.

Syndicates and clubs must register for the refund before September 1st, 2018. Email: owners@hri.ie. Web: racehorseownership.ie
