THE Irish Horse Board this week announced the appointment of Lorraine MacGuinness to its marketing team in the role of Marketing Executive.

With over 15 years working for Horseware Ireland, one of the largest equestrian companies in the world, Lorraine comes to the Irish Horse Board with very strong credentials in marketing, sponsorship and event management.

An IHB press release stated: “Her background and passion for the equestrian industry and her experience in dealing with major events, including the World Equestrian Games, Dublin Horse Show, Hickstead Show and managing the sponsorship of international riders such as Cian O’Connor, Laura Kraut, Michael Jung and Judy Reynolds, as well as the US Equestrian Federation and Team GB, makes Lorraine an ideal fit for this exciting role.

“Having recently been granted significant funding from the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine for the promotion and marketing of the Irish sport horse sector, Lorrraine will play a prominent role as the Irish Horse Board sets about this exciting work on behalf of the thousands of breeders and producers in Ireland. We wish Lorraine well in her new position and look forward to working with her in what is an exciting new era in the development of the sport horse sector,” it said.
