DAG Albert’s Irish Eventing team of Clare Abbott (Jewelant), Robbie Kearns (Ballyvillane OBOS), Ian Cassels (Shanbo Super Flex) and Sam Watson (Ballyneety Rocketman) are in ninth place following dressage at the final leg of the 2023 FEI Eventing Nations Cup Series in Boekelo, The Netherlands.
With all to play for in today’s cross-country, Ireland lie on a score of 102.1 while Germany lead on 82.3. The British team lie second on 84.9 with France in third on 86.5.
Abbott was best of the Irish with Jewelent scoring 31.6, followed by Nations Cup debutant Kearns and Ballyvillane OBOS who scored 33.5. Cassels scored 37.0 and Watson scored 41.0, which served as the discard score.
