€5,000 event horse final

THE Eventing Ireland Young Horse Pathway for four- and five-year-old potential event horses will culminate, with a Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine-sponsored final at Lisgarvan International Horse Trials on August 24th, with a prize fund of €5,000.

The training will be given by Gerald Bloomer and Sue Shortt in the fabulous Clonmahon House, Co Meath. Each horse/rider combination must attend at least one training session to be eligible for the final.

The final will consist of flatwork, show jumping and cross-country and suitability, where top class judges will be assessing the horse.

The remaining dates are July 23rd and August 6th. For more information, see eventingireland.com/younghorse
