COLOO Colin and Tyrone Flanagan dominated in the 1.20m championship on Sunday afternoon, taking the win with a second round time of 29.62 in the two-phase class. Owned by Ruairi Holmes and bred by Cathal Lyons, Coloo Colin is by Colin Diamond out of Not Nearys Girl.

Louis Mellier riding Tom Jones’ five-year-old Carrick Quidams Flake (Carrick Quidam De Revel x Carrick Diamond Lad), bred by Barbra and Aishling Finnegan, took the runner-up spot in 29.90.

Flanagan also secured third place on his other mount Aileen Flynn’s Sivanna R (Mermus R x Aldato), bred by Ruairi Holmes, they posted a time of 30.48.

Fourth went to Jonathan Smyth riding Willie Craig’s seven-year-old Castle Ferro Cruis (Creevagh Ferro x Ballinfull Lass), bred by Noel Ruane, they stopped the clock at 30.54.

Carrick Golden Diamond (Carrick Diamond Lad x Hopalong Cassidy), owned and bred by Tom Jones and ridden by Louis Mellier, took fifth place, while Suzanne Posnett and her own Dutch-bred Luscinia Eickenrode completed the top six.
