THE first four-year-old qualifier held at The Meadows offered eight places for August’s Dublin Horse Show and 90 youngsters lined out to be judged by Bo Eitenmuller from the Hanoverian Society and German judge Roland Metz.

Rich and Royal, a Dutch-bred stallion by Mumbai Van De Meerhoeve x Crunch bred by Roelof Bril, scored the highest mark of the day of 82.25 to capture the top spot and his ticket to Ballsbridge.
