CAMRYN Clarke made sure some of the silverware stayed at home last weekend, when he rode his mother Victoria’s Conto De Reve to victory in Saturday’s 1.35m Cavan Grand Prix.
By Hermes De Reve out of Odessa Iv (Conto), he was bred by Noleen Kieran and has been partnered by Clarke for the past three years. The two-phase class, which was worth €3,000, attracted a large start list of 70 combinations. Some 18 of these remained fault-free over both phases, with Clarke the fastest in 25.57.
