THE 1.30m class on Sunday at Cavan’s February horse show saw 33 combinations start over the two-phase track. Twenty left all the fences intact through the first phase to progress to the timed second phase.
A total of 13 kept a clean sheet over both phases, with young rider Ben Cassidy proving best of these aboard Kathleen O’Riordan’s gelding Gembro. By Ustinov, he is out of Cluoca Ali, by Aldatus Z and was bred by Marcus O’Donnell. The duo recorded a time of 28.53 for the win.
