BARNADOWN Show jumping in Co Wexford played host to the final round of pony, young rider and Children on Horses’ Dublin Horse Show qualifiers last weekend. On Saturday, pony riders were first to challenge for their place at the five-star show.
In the 148cm decider, Leinster riders dominated the line-up as they claimed the first four placings in the nine-way jump-off. Claiming the first ticket was Nicole Reynolds on the eight-year-old Jimmy’s Moon, when double clear in 41.97 seconds. Robbie Sheehan and Knockroe Clover Mor were less than a second behind with nothing to add in 42.75. Bonnie Loughrey and Infinity was last of the double clears in 42.85 for third place.
