CAL Naidoo was the recent recipient of a Fingal County Council/Sport Ireland sports club volunteer of the year award, having been nominated by Cheval Riding Club.

Although she is on the committee, Cal was unaware of the praise bestowed on her by her fellow club members when they nominated her back in December. Aptly, the ceremony was held at the Carlton Hotel, Dublin Airport, Cal having worked at the airport for many years. These days, she spends much of her time looking after her beloved 18-year-old skewbald gelding Reggie and two horses she has on livery for friends.
