MENTIONED in this column recently, hunting fanatic Johnny Drake was among the many disappointed to have learned last weekend that the Golden Button Challenge, which was due to take place today over three miles of the Ledbury country, has been cancelled yet again.

Johnny was very much looking forward to taking on the 28-obstacle course with his Irish Sport Horse gelding Portphilip Quality, the 14-year-old bay son of OBOS Quality 004 who he used to compete at EI110 level and on whom he won the Ward Union Antler Challenge last March.
