THE Amateur show jumping season is kicking off with a series of leagues taking place around the country. In Connaught, the Amateur circuit gets underway this March with the highly anticipated Connaught Spring Series, with five legs to kick off the season. This is followed by the Connaught Amateur Spring Show on April 26th in Duffy’s Equestrian Centre. The Connaught Grand Prix leagues start in May, and this once again includes the Connaught Amateur League with legs at standalone shows and grassroot Agricultural shows across the province. The previous two years have culminated with the Super grand prix show and the Autumn Amateur show, so a busy year lies ahead for the Connaught Amateurs.

In Munster, the Waterford Tipperary amateur committee is delighted to announce that the Mackey Ireland Waterford Tipperary amateur league will once again go ahead for the fourth year in 2026. There will be legs throughout the summertime, starting at Ballylawn show on Sunday, April 26th, with the final at the end of August.
