THE Rathfarnham Branch of the Irish Pony Club held an inter-branch show jumping competition last Sunday at the National Horse Sport Arena, where Gay Parkinson judged the action over a course built by Shane Brooks. Prizes were sponsored by Summit Lifts, Zintek and Reverie Developments.
This was Rathfarnham’s third time to host such a show and, while they would have liked a larger entry from other Branches, they were delighted to welcome members from the Bray, Louth, Meath, Monaghan and Ward Union Hunt Pony Clubs. The aims of the show were to give riders confidence in a welcoming environment and as practice before Area qualifiers.
