THE East Antrim Branch of The Pony Club took over the Ballyvannon cross-country venue last Saturday when they offered a variety of training competitions such as Dry Triathlons for all levels, Biathlons for Juniors, Minimus, Tadpoles and Beanies and cross-country rounds over tracks ranging from 40cm to 1m.

We noted that five of the six Area 17 members who are competing at the Irish Pony Club Agria National Minimus Championships this weekend took part in the Minimus Dry Triathlon where her excellent shooting skills helped the host Branch’s Cynthia Jane O’Brien come out on top with 3,124 points to her credit.
