THE Mid Antrim Branch of The Pony Club ran a two-phase event along with a Triathlon/Tetrathlon over the weekend at Laurel View Equestrian where they received much-appreciated sponsorship from Clonkeen Equestrian Supplies, Equi-Tog and the Henry Brothers. The best-supported two-phase classes were the 80cm, which had to be divided, and the 70cm.
There were 31 starters in that 70cm class where the winner, on a penalty score of six, was Jessica Smyth riding the Irish Sport Horse mare, Autumns Gold, a 13-year-old chesnut daughter of WRS Meelin Flagmount.
