TATTERSALLS Ireland has confirmed the running of the George Mernagh Tattersalls Horse Trials, a one-day event in honour of the late George Mernagh, former Managing Director of Tattersalls Ireland. The long-established fixture, previously held in August, will move to a new date of Sunday, September 13th.

The event will feature a full programme of dressage, show jumping and cross-country across a range of classes, all affiliated to Eventing Ireland. A key addition for 2026 is that the cross-country course will, for the first time, be designed by international course designer Paul Brady. Brady will introduce a more technical track with new fences and additional challenges further enhancing the standard of competition.
