STILL seeking qualification for the showing classes at next month’s Royal International Horse Show at Hickstead, riders headed to last week’s Derby meeting at the west Sussex venue.

Among the Irish-breds to catch the eye was the Matthew Ainsworth-ridden, Sue Hookham-owned chesnut Dublin Street Fighter who stood reserve in Saturday’s Agria hunter championship having topped the final line-up in the heavyweight class. Now 13 years of age, the much-beribboned Irish Sport Horse gelding by Camiro de Haar Z was bred in Co Clare by Noel Daly out of Sarahs Pet (by Allthruthenight).
