WATERFORD’S Peter Moloney got off the mark for Ireland in the first division of the two-star 1.40m speed class at the two-star fixture at Azelhof, Lier last week, when he rode Nielson into second place of the 55 starters with a clear round in 64.44, only being beaten by Guillaume Foutrier (FRA) on Fruna de Kogis who stopped the clock in 62.85.
There were also 55 starters in the second division of the class, in which Moloney placed ninth with Donna Pascale in a time of 68.60. The win here went to Carmen Edwards (GBR) on Happy Valerie in 63.00.
