DERRY’S Jordan Coyle showed his skill and remarkable consistency during the second week of the ESP Spring Series at Wellington International over the weekend, where he was among a number of Irish riders competing.

Thursday’s three-star $32,000 Brainjuice 1.45m two-phase special class saw two Irish riders finish in the top four. Jordan Coyle rode Calcourt Particle into third place, followed by Daniel Kerins on Diacette in fourth. The Irish pair were among 20 to jump double clear from the start list of 37. Jad Dana (LBN) scored an amazing one-two in the class with Mondavi (30.83) and Leonidas (31.06).
