ROSIE Coad, one of the lucky Eventing Ireland youth riders who enjoyed a training session session with the legendary William Fox-Pitt yesterday (Friday), led from the outset in the two-runner EI110(J) at Clyda last Sunday.
Riding Barberton (TB by Johannesburg) her dressage score of 29.8 and fault-free jumping phases saw her to hold onto the win ahead of Ciara O’Connor and Ashwood Rio (ISH by Dignified Van’t Zorgvliet). Coad and Barberton are riding a great wave of form having already won this season at EI100 level at Ballindenisk 2 and Tyrella 4 and the pair were second, behind O’Connor and Ashwood Rio, at Hillcrest on their debut together at EI110 level.
