AS the technicality of Friday’s jumping increased at the Connemara Pony Show, Kilmurray Cain (Hector Of Loughfadda - Duncan’s Dream) is a perfect example of the career progression the Green Hunter process can offer ponies. Having won the Green Hunter Final in 2025, the dun stallion has continued his development with owner and rider Sophie Mullane. This year, they stepped up and qualified for the High Performance.

The summer has seen the pair successfully qualify for the younger section of the Connemara Performance Hunter at the Dublin Horse Show. Seeing off competition from the other 27 High Performance finalists, the stallion added his second Clifden sash to his resume in 12 months on the Showgrounds when winning Friday’s final.
