MILLIE Twomey’s trip to last week’s Balmoral Show proved well worthwhile as she won the mini championship on Marianne Power’s show hunter pony Rookery Haribo and then partnered that 12-year-old Welsh gelding by Uphill James Fox to claim the honours in the supreme mini championship.
In the mini section, the other winners were Jacob Barry riding Rhydygrug Peter Pan, Caitlin McMullon with Hollycreek Sir Sidney and Nicole O’Shaughnessy on board Carwgwyn Finality. It was the first ridden class winner, Annette McMullon’s Astral Heartbreaker 13-year-old Hollycreek Sir Sidney who stood reserve.
