A DELAYED United flight from Newark to Shannon last year thwarted contributor Susan Finnerty’s hopes of making it back from Australia to nearby Newmarket on Fergus Show, the first agricultural show of the summer.
Aer Lingus cabin crew member Geraldine Lynch made it last Sunday, arriving off the Boston-Shannon flight in time to sell catalogues at one of her local shows. From Kilrush and normally based at Dublin Airport, Geraldine even swapped flights with a colleague to make Sunday’s show.
That’s dedication!
