THE village of Lusk in north Co Dublin will be well-represented in the Main Arena at Dublin next month as four residents have qualified for the RDS National Championships, three from the same family.

Paul Carroll was the first of the quartet to book his ticket when finishing fifth in the amateur qualifier at Ballinamona on June 12th with the 10-year-old Kannan gelding Kabran de Reve Z. The family’s time on the road was next rewarded when 12-year-old Pippa qualified at Ard Chuain on June 26th for the 128cms championship with The Nut Cracker.
