ONE person watching the recent four-year-old RDS qualifiers at Barnadown with great intent was none other than Rachel Hughes of Showjumping Ireland, who was delighted when her horse, known as Bruce at home, was among the seven qualified in that age group.

Be Dignified, by Dignified Van’t Zorgvliet, out of a Ramiro B mare, “Bruce” was bred by Barnadown’s Maurice Cousins and was ridden on the day by Steven Holland from Castlebridge Stud.
