MEMBERS of branches in Area 17 of The Pony Club (Northern Ireland) converged on the Campbell family’s Dirraw Farm in Finvoy, Co Antrim on Saturday, September 19th for their Home Championships, a two-phase event in show jumping and cross-country.
Hosted by the Tullylagan Branch, this fixture had been scheduled as a one-day event over the Bank Holiday weekend in late August but had to be cancelled because of the prevalent weather and ground conditions. As the venue was only available for one day after that, the decision was taken to change to a two-phase event over show jumping tracks designed by Aaron McCusker and cross-country courses designed and built by Adam Stevenson and Alan Campbell.
