Congratulations to John Halford, a former member of the Laois Branch of the Irish Pony Club, who rode his first winner at Punchestown on Tuesday. Josh has represented Ireland internationally and is still jumping under SJI rules this year. In 2019, he competed at the Dublin Horse Show in young riders, while he was second in the 138cms junior equitation class at the RDS in 2018 on Moreno. Tuesday’s win came on Tarnova in the Irish EBF Mares INF Flat Race for his father, trainer Mick Halford, and Tracey Collins \ healyracing.ie
