THE October sun was shining down last Saturday when, thanks to the tremendous support of proprietor Vahe Bogassion, the riding phase of the first Tetrathlon and Fun Minimus hosted by the Waterford Branch of the Irish Pony Club took place at Ballinamona Equestrian.

“We felt we had to organise an event for our members when the National Tetrathlon Championships, due to be held in August, were cancelled,” said Paul O’Connor, District Commissioner of the Branch. “The level of participation last weekend demonstrates the athleticism and rising ability of so many Pony Club members and their commitment to taking part in competition.”
