THE new Anglesea Stand at the Royal Dublin Society (RDS) has had it’s ‘topping out’ ceremony last week after the structural frame reached its highest point. Boasting a capacity of more than 20,000, the new-look Laya Arena is on-track to welcome the public for the first time on Wednesday, August 5th, the opening day of the Dublin Horse Show.
Accessibility was a major consideration of the project, featuring 166 dedicated accessible seating positions, including 57 wheelchair spaces and 52 ambulant accessible seats.
