DOMINIC Furnell finished as the highest-placed Irish rider at the Longines Lumuhlen CCI5* in Germany last weekend, when he was 12th with the Thomas Jones-owned and bred Irish Sport Horse Ivanhoe (Wounderwall x Cruising), pictured on page 91. The class was won by Britain’s Caroline Harris and D. Day, who recorded their second win at this level, having also topped the podium at Pau in 2024. Emily King finished second with the French-bred Valmy Biats, while the Anthony Smyth-bred Irish Sport Horse Shanroe Cooley (Dallas x Condios) was third for the USA’s Boyd Martin.
