IRISH international dressage riders Jess Dunn and James Connor made use of Aachen’s Dressage Days show to experience the venue ahead of this summer’s FEI World Championships, when they both contested the CDI3* Grand Prix there last week. Dunn maintained her form to finish seventh of the 30 combinations who contested the class, scoring 69.50% with Dan Its Carsten. Connor and Vanotti, meanwhile, finished 11th on 68.370%, a score well in excess of the MER, which sees them qualified for August’s Championships. Both riders progressed to the Grand Prix Special, where this time Dunn finished eighth on a score of 68.638, while Connor was 13th on 66.298%. Henri Ruoste won the class with Delaurentis on 71.170.
