A BUSY Michael Ryan piloted a string of horses at Millstreet, among which was his EI100 winner Classicals Fortune. Sourced as a three-year-old from the Go For Gold sale in 2015, and quietly produced last year by Patricia Ryan, the Imelda Dillon-bred son of Heritage Fortunas narrowly led the 34 runners on the flat (29.0).

He progressed to post a double clear round to remain just ahead of the six-year-old event debutante J’Taime Cooley (29.3) ridden by Katie O’Sullivan and the new partnership of Khaleesi (by Atlantic Sparky) and Sarah Ennis.
