EVERYONE who rode a winner at the Camphire International Horse Trials was delighted to have done so but none more demonstrably so than Amelia King who, on board the Irish Sport Horse gelding Regal Mix, led home three other British riders who all likewise completed on their dressage score in the Eventing Ireland CCI1*.

There were different leaders after all three phases in this 34-runner class. Following dressage, New Zealand’s James Avery was in front with Seaflower (25 penalties), ahead of Ireland’s Michael McNally and Amouaj (30.5) and France’s Baptiste Salaun with Api du Libaire (31.3).
