Entries have been received from leading International event riders Camilla Speirs, Clare Abbott and Nicky Roncoroni, all previous competitors at Tattersalls International Horse Trials.

The qualifier is for four-year-olds and five-year-old potential event horses and will be judged in four phases; the first phase of dressage will be judged by Tim Downes followed by the jumping phase which will be judged by Chris McGann. Tattersalls Ireland auctioneer and Anngrove Stud proprietor Alastair Pim will judge the conformation phase and Lt. Col. Brian MacSweeney will judge the final phase of Suitability and Potential. Each horse will be judged out of 100 marks.

The Dubarry Burghley Young Event Series Qualifier forms part of The Tattersalls Ireland July Show in association with the Rolestown Show and Ward Union Hunt which takes place over this coming weekend, Saturday and Sunday, July 22nd-23rd. There is a variety of showing and showjumping classes throughout the weekend and the show will also incorporate the Kildare/North Leinster Area of the Irish Pony Society’s Annual Show.

Admission for the Tattersalls Ireland July Show is free and all donations and proceeds received are in aid of the Shows’ Official Charity, St. Francis Hospice.
