SEEING an animal you have produced go on to win at a prestigious event is the stuff dreams are made of. For Joe Gallagher this dream came true a couple of weeks ago when Hot Bobo, the mare he had from a foal to a four-year-old, won the Lexington CCI4*-S at the Land Rover Kentucky Three-Day Event.

Partnered by Canadian Karl Slezak for the past six years, Hot Bobo, a 10-year-old mare by Arkansas VDL out of Taneys Leader (Supreme Leader), was the only horse to finish on her dressage score of 29.3 to secure the victory.
