A FURTHER cluster of five-figure returns brought a busy four-day sale to a satisfactory close at Goresbridge last Friday. While it would have been quite a feat to match the heady level of trading from the first two sessions - and indeed the market definitely steadied in comparison - plenty of notable prices emerged from the final divisions.

Looking at the positives, 15 of the three and four-year-olds made in excess of €10,000 and, on scrutiny, the figures over the last two days were not significantly dissimilar to 12 months ago. At the end of a very successful four days trading, the overall turnover closed at a healthy €2,340,700, together with a clearance of 72%.
