TWO lots made €40,000 apiece at last October’s Select Sale of three-year-old show jumpers and eventers at Goresbridge where, on Monday week, October 2nd, 37 lots are due to come under the hammer.

One colt, 11 fillies and 25 geldings have been catalogued, a dozen of whom have been consigned by their breeders. The vast majority of the lots are registered as Irish Sport Horses, three of whom are further identified as being Traditional Irish Horses.

The Dutch Warmblood sire Grandorado TN has four offspring listed, as has the ISH stallion HHS Cornet, while there are two lots catalogued by the ISH stallion Sligo Candy Boy and the Zangersheide-registered pair El Barone 111 Z and Hardrock Z.

Grandorado’s son Lucky Luck (KWPN) is one of the other 23 stallions with produce in the sale, as is the thoroughbred Denounce and the Connemara Abbeyfield Comet.

On the vendor front, four lots are being consigned by Higgins Sporthorses (three KWPN geldings and one Belgian Warmblood), while Mark O’Sullivan has entered two ISH-registered lots (bred by members of the Brennan family) and the last lot catalogued, a Holstein gelding, one of four greys in the sale. Three lots are associated with the late Noel Cawley.

The catalogue and videos are available to view online and the sale itself will be fully live-streamed, with online bidding.
