YESTERDAY’s Brightwells sale at Cheltenham attracted a large number of recent Irish point-to-point winners including two Stuart Crawford saddled at Maralin last Saturday, Baby Bach and Silver Scotch.

Ross Crawford, owner of the Bach gelding, was always sending his four-year-old to the sale but it wasn’t until Tuesday that Bill MacKenzie and his daughter Rhona, who bred Silver Scotch, decided that their Tikkanen mare would also go under the hammer.
