TAKING centre stage in Barnadown on Sunday was the final round of young rider and children on horses’ Dublin Horse Show qualifiers. As expected, riders were out in their droves in a bid to book one of the coveted places.

In the 1.35-1.40m division, Kildare rider Grace McHugh took the honours when she delivered the fastest of the three double clears in the five-way jump-off in 47.88 seconds with Berlios Van De Kapel. Little separated the next placing as Emer Kavanagh and MHS Tamara stopped the clock in 48.17 for second.
