12.05 Paddy Power I Have No Idea What Day It Is 3-Y-O Maiden Hurdle 2m
Willie Mullins has won the last two runnings of this race and might score again with Ethical Diamond, who changed hands for 320,000 guineas after winning a Limerick maiden in June. Provided he takes well to hurdling, the Awtaad gelding rates an exciting recruit to this sphere. Lark In The Mornin was unfortunate to bump into the useful-looking Mighty Bandit on his hurdling bow at Punchestown and should be thereabouts again.

All eyes will be on superb Supreme Novices’ Hurdle hero Marine Nationale as he makes his chasing debut. He has been described in the past as a chasing type and enters the festive period vying for favouritism in the 2024 Arkle market. Anything less than a victory will probably be disappointing, though it’s interesting to see a tongue-tie now added. Ho My Lord was an eyecatcher on his chasing debut behind Il Etait Temps and can follow him home.

2.20 Paddy Power Who Put The Wrappers Back In The Box? Handicap Hurdle 2m
A 9lb hike wasn’t overly harsh on Fortunedefortunata considering the style of his Navan Racing Festival success last time. Provided he’s as effective on better ground, he should deliver a bold bid for Gordon Elliott.
Zoffanien, giving Joey Sheridan a first ride over hurdles, caught the eye at a huge price when fifth at Thurles last weekend and he’s entitled to improve from that run given it was after a 302-day layoff.

Panda Boy ran a cracker in this race last year when only a six-year-old on just his fourth start over fences, so he’s bound to be firmly in the mix again for big-race specialist Martin Brassil. It’s best not to read too much into his first two runs of the season when probably needing the run at Punchestown/running over an insufficient trip last time.
Jody Ted comes here in terrific form for Eoin Griffin and can be in the shake-up again if continuing his improvement, while Amirite is a live contender for Henry de Bromhead.

3.35 Paddy Power The Flat One INH Flat Race 2m 4f
Willie Mullins has won five of the last seven runnings of this race and his point-to-point recruit Joystick has been the subject of positive reports in recent weeks. He is of obvious interest.
Bleu De Vassy, runner-up to Joystick’s stablemate Petit Secret at the Fairyhouse Winter Festival, is a useful sort in his own right and can capitalise if the selection is not up to scratch on rules debut.
SELECTION: JOYSTICK
Next best: Bleu De Vassy
