Cold Hearted can improve two places on what was a very promising debut run at Naas last month. The Jessica Harrington-trained filly stayed on nicely inside the last furlong to take third close home. With the pair that finished in front of her, going on to occupy the first two spots in a Group 3 since, that form looks strong. Heavens Gate was weak in the market when runner-up on her racecourse debut and should be a lot more streetwise now.

Runner-up here over seven furlongs earlier this month, the Joseph O’Brien-trained Sluice should appreciate stepping up an additional furlong. She ran a big race when third in the Madrid Handicap, and that race has worked out exceptionally well, so a mark of 86 looks lenient.
Royal Ascot winner Snellen should strip much fitter here having finished seventh on her seasonal reappearance at Naas.

Matron Stakes runner-up Rogue Millenium should be difficult to beat on her debut for Joseph O’Brien. The five-year-old has upwards of 6lb in hand of her rivals on official ratings. She should be fit enough with Royal Ascot on the horizon. British raider Orchid Bloom will need to improve on anything she has achieved to date but has to be respected given her connections.

Chief Little Rock can recover losses having suffered an odds-on reversal on his seasonal reappearance at Epsom. The Aidan O’Brien-trained colt should come on from that outing and be difficult to beat despite the presence of some lightly raced rivals.
Spoken Truth, a brother to Group 1 winner Homeless Songs, made an impressive three-year-old debut at Cork and is well worth his place in the line up.

Hanalia may improve sufficiently from her debut fourth at Gowran Park to take what appears quite an ordinary maiden for this meeting. That experience will not have been lost on her.
Sidiza, also owned by the Aga Khan, wouldn’t need to be anything exceptional to make a winning race course debut. Trained by Dermot Weld, the filly is a half-sister to a Galway maiden winner.

Having shown considerable improvement over hurdles this winter, the Joseph O’Brien-trained Harsh has to be of interest. A lightly raced sort on the flat, he finished fourth in the Boodles at Cheltenham before landing a handicap hurdle at the Punchestown Festival. A mark of 79 seems exploitable.
Towards the foot of the weights, Grappa Nonino catches the eye as a course-and-distance winner who may be well treated.
