TATTERSALLS will host its first online sale of the year today (Wednesday, January 17th) and Thursday. The sale features 95 lots.

The catalogue is headlined by a breeding right to Europe’s most exciting young stallion, Havana Grey, sire of last season’s dual Group 1 winning juvenile Vandeek.

A total of seven breeding rights are listed for auction including one to Cracksman, sire of Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe winner Ace Impact, Alkumait, who stands at Capital Stud in Co Kilkenny, and Far Above, who stands at Starfield Stud in Co Westmeath.

The sale includes 57 horses in and out of training from leading trainers from Britain, Ireland and France. Featuring among the quartet consigned by Gordon Elliott’s Cullentra House Stables is the 120-rated winning hurdler Level Neverending.

Among the six two-year-olds on offer is a colt by Too Darn Hot out of Group 2 winner Priceless.

There is plenty on offer for breeders too with 17 broodmares for auction headed by the Houghton Bloodstock consigned Renzia, a half-sister to the Group 1 placed Stormy Len, offered in foal to Cracksman.

Bidding opens at noon on Wednesday and closes from noon on Thursday, January 18th.
