BREEDERS’ Cup winning jockey Wayne Lordan collected three maidens for trainer Aidan O’Brien at Gowran’s two-day meeting on Sunday and Monday.

Juvenile colts provided two of those wins, while juvenile filly January landed Monday’s opening Gowran Park Fillies Maiden over seven furlongs. The Kingman-filly had finished second on debut last month and today raced with the pace and held off the fast-finishing Va Va Vroom by a head.
