Deep Impact’s Derby dream is still alive. Auguste Rodin will get me through even the harshest of winters. Roll on turf flat 2023!

What an amazing day, still smiling after the amazing final @CorinthianChall@LeopardstownRC so grateful to everyone who has supported this series, this amazing bunch has raised over 115k for @InjuredJockeys whilst achieving their own goals as Jockeys! #livinglegends #dreambig

Gordon Doyle@gordon_doyle

60k chase at Cheltenham dominated by two tough horses by unheralded sires. Dads Lads by Eliot and Effernock Fizz by Lovelace! Once again shows the disconnect between fashion and results/winners IMO. Perception over substance.

His 3rd last jump in Punchestown Gold Cup 2006 was a thing of beauty. I actually laid War to win Gold Cup 2006 the year before to

@MouseJnr at 50/1. Still one of my best days racing regardless of impact to pocket. Such a magnificent horse and trainer combo.

Kevin Blake@kevinblake2011

Sad to hear that Rock of Gibraltar has passed away at the age of 23. He was a magnificent racehorse. His win in the Grand Criterium at Longchamp remains one of the most startling examples of push-button acceleration that you’ll ever see in a Group 1.

It’s with both relief and disappointment that we have decided to retire Princess Zoe. She was tougher than Margaret Thatcher.

Michael Tobin@sociable_mike

An amazing horse Tony, very very special. Delighted she is being retired safe and well. Thanks for all your video’s and insight with her. A credit to your staff, her owners and yourself of course. She has been such a special horse to follow. Thank you.

Even JRR Tolkien would have looked at that Willie Mullins 2022 stable tour and gone “feck that’s long”.

Just had a look at today’s Flightline work. As if three-quarters in 1:11 4/5 isn’t impressive enough, what stood out was the way he hit another gear when asked to finish through and past the wire. Going to take something unforeseen, isn’t it?
