DAMIEN Skehan enjoyed a day to remember at the Laois Hunt’s first fixture of the season at Stradbally Hall. The Co Tipperary based rider partnered four winners for a career best day. The most popular win of the day came in the Ashbourne Meats winners of three contest, that saw success for local handler Mark Quigley and owner Joe Delaney, when Kilna Shane (3/1 joint-fanourite) was guided to a 15-length victory in the hands of Skehan.
