A strong overseas team is set to line up in the Group 3 Snow Fairy Stakes taking place at the Curragh this Saturday with six British trained fillies remaining in the race following this morning’s entry stage.

These include Azaniya trained by Owen Burrows, Seren Star trained by William Haggas, Pacific Mission trained by Andrew Balding, Della Place trained by George Boughey, Estissa trained by James Fanshawe and the John Gosden-trained Miss Scott, who was added to the field as a supplementary entry this morning. The home trained team includes Catalina Delcarpio, Faiyum, Meridien, Pivotal Attack and Star Performer, who are among the twenty-five entries for the 9-furlong contest.

The valuable Tote Irish Cambridgeshire is always one of the most competitive races of the year and 2026 will be no exception, with twenty two entries including Hardy Warrior, Charles Fort, Lord Massusus, Loughrea, Kalir and Benevento, together with prolific Curragh winner Big Gossey, who is set to carry top weight.

Royal Ascot winner Great Barrier Reef is one of twelve entries in the Heider Family Stables Round Tower Stakes and this Group 3 contest looks set to be one of the highlights of the day with Livenka, Velozee, Alwaysanangel and Push the Boat Out amongst the contenders for the six-furlong contest.

Trainer Aidan O’Brien has a strong team of four entries in the Group 3 Newtownanner Stud Stakes including So Lovely, Speckles and Exceptionally, while other notable contenders include Ballyskeagh, Belesque and Samnina.

The Pat Smullen Cancer Trials Ireland Charity Race, supported by Ballylinch Stud, will also be a feature of the day with nineteen riders competing over the world-famous twelve-furlong Dubai Duty Free Irish Derby course. They are all taking part in memory of a family member or friend they lost to cancer or to support those currently living with cancer. The annual race has raised significant funds for Cancer Trials Ireland.
